How did you meet?
A Sunday afternoon enjoying a few drinks with friends at a local bar. Mark was very shy so it took me to spark up a conversation with him. After some flirtatious looks, a few drinks and some classy moves on the dance floor, we knew we wanted to see each other again.
What made you decide to have a destination wedding?
The idea of a destination wedding for us meant that our guests would join us for the week around the wedding and switch off from their everyday lives which meant they were more relaxed. Our guest list was really refined to ensure we achieved a truly intimate occasion.
What is it about Bali that made you want to get married here?
Bali is the most beautiful mix of fun and playfulness yet it’s also incredibly beautiful and spiritual. The Balinese people have always been so loving and welcoming. We have holidayed in Bali many times before and it holds such incredible memories that we wanted to share parts of this island with our loved ones and create new memories during this amazing part of our lives.

The property and establishment are beyond a dream. They are the epitome of luxury. But it was also a little deeper than that. It was about the people that made it happen. It was our correspondence and dealings with Melissa that made us so excited and welcome. With the private villas, Sundays Beach Club, onsite catering and knowledge that we were going to be taken care of by people who were genuinely dedicated to satisfying us, it created everything we had dreamt of and more.
