Our Wedding day was made extra special, thanks to you. A day we’ll never forget and a place we plan to return to every year, to create more beautiful memories in this special piece of paradise.
How They Met
Nikki and Dane met at an event in Sydney. Dane was the opening act for Jamiraqui and Nikki was attending, in her words, “It was love at first sight. Nothing like a man singing on stage”
The Proposal
Dane proposed to Nikki while on a trip to Hong Kong. It’s no secret Dane pulled out all the stops when proposing to Nikki “there were rose petals, chocolates, he got down on one knee and the most impressive part was he even asked my dad” Nikki explained going on to say he made all her dreams come true that day.
Why The Ungasan Clifftop Resort?
We love Bali. It holds a special place in our hearts for many reasons. Once we had ruled out New Zealand and Australia, we knew that Bali was it. We did a lot of research on places but always found ourselves back on The Ungasan’s website. For us the most important part of the wedding was the location, having a stunning backdrop to set the mood and nothing bet the jaw-dropping views and grounds of The Ungasan.
Favourite Wedding Day Moments
I can honestly say that the 2 favourite moments from my wedding were walking down the aisle with my father on my arm and locking eyes with my future husband. In that moment you get a feeling that is beyond words. My second favourite, scanning the room and seeing all your friends and family with large smiles on their faces, everyone enjoying themselves, you may say the whole experience is somewhat of a dream.
